WHAT LOVE SOUNDS LIKE

(OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES)

The “This Is What Love Sounds Like” (“Contest”) is open to any individual eighteen (18) years-of-age or older who resides in the KFIS-FM listening area. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and immediate family and household members of Salem Communications Holding Corp, licensee of KFIS-FM (“Radio Station”), its parent company, its parent’s affiliated companies, and its advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate in the Contest

There will be One (1) winner per month, Three (3) total from June 1, 2022 through August 31, 2022. Each winner will be selected at random from all entries received. Individuals may enter in one of the following ways: they can open the FISH app on their mobile device and click on the open mic feature and tell a story of what love sounds like to them. Or, hey can share their story in and email or a voice message and send it to: [email protected] or [email protected].

Once per month the station will choose one winner from all stories and that person will win $100 for themselves and $100 to give to their favorite charity. Winners will be notified via email. Winners will have to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability where necessary and where lawful, publicity release when the winner picks up their prize from the station offices. All prizes must be claimed in person within 30 days of date won at KFIS Studios located at 6400 SE Lake Road Suite 350 Portland, OR 97222 during normal business hours (Mon.-Fri. 9:00am-5:00pm, excluding holidays). Winners will be required to provide proof of identification and sign a release form acknowledging receipt of the prize. Prizes not claimed within 30 days forfeit prize unless prior arrangements have been made with management.

There are five (3) Prizes. Each prize includes: $100 AND $100 for the winner’s favorite charity. No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent will be given for the Prize, provided however, Radio Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value. KFIS reserves the right to extend this contest beyond August 31. 2022.

An individual may only win a prize once every thirty days and an individual may only win a prize with a value greater than $50.00 or more once every 30 days. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and may be required to complete a W-9 taxpayer identification form. All federal, state, and local laws apply. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold Radio Station, its parent company and its parent’s affiliated companies harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on any libel, slander, illegal competition or trade practice, violation of rights of privacy, infringement of copyrights or other rights of third parties.
