Casting Crowns Asking for Prayer for Former Drummer Following Motorcycle Accident

All friends, family, and fans can do is wait and pray as Casting Crowns former drummer, Andy Williams hopefully regains consciousness following a serious motorcycle accident Sunday, June 27.

Williams was struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle to church.

According to the post, Williams was resuscitated at the scene and taken to a local ER. Williams sustained severe brain trauma and is currently on a ventilator.

“He is ALIVE, but his needs are many,” the post reads. “The doctors say right now that the best thing that can happen is for him to wake up on his own.”

Please pray for Williams' return to consciousness, his recovery, and for God's peace upon his family during this time.  Andy has a wife, and two sons.

Williams performed and recorded with Casting Crowns during the band's earlier years.  He left the band in 2009.
