When you meet Crystal, you realize very quickly, she doesn’t meet a stranger. You may recognize her from her time in television as an award-winning news anchor, host, and reporter in markets around the country, including a stint at Portland’s own KOIN-TV.
But these days she’s lovin’ on you, weekday mornings from six to ten and Sundays from noon to six on Portland’s ‘104.1 The Fish.”
Crystal loves encouraging and uplifting Fish listeners right where they are. If there isn’t any sunshine, she’s sure to bring it.
When Crystal isn’t encouraging Fish listeners, she’s working with local non-profit organizations, she may be taking a fitness class, cheering her son on in sports, traveling or catching a play.
Crystal has a passion for the arts and is also an accomplished vocal recording artist. She has shared her gift of song around the country and internationally through The Trinity Broadcast Network and Total Christian Television. She is currently working on a music project to be released this year. Crystal is married to Ronald Stephen Thornton, Jr. and the apple of her eye is their son Ronald “Rock” Thornton, III. And the latest addition to the Thornton family is “Jet” her standard poodle. One of her favorite quotes is “People won’t remember what you said. People won’t remember what you did.
But people will always remember how you made them feel.” #GetExcited
